Im getting a new case soon and i cant decide which Lian Li case to get.
I like these:

pc-v2000
pc-7077
pc-1200
pc-75

Overall, i want one that offers the best performance for the best price.

I have the pc-v2000 and I don't like the way the hard drives mount. The rails are plastic and the vibrations resonate throughout the entire case. It's so bad the case makes a hummmmmmmmmmmmmmming sound from the hard drives spinning. It's so annoying that I have place a water bottle on the case to absorb the vibrations. I have a pretty quiet system so if it’s not under 30dB then you won't notice the problem.

I like the 7077A because it's an updated 75. I like the V2000 but for the extra money it might not be worth it to you.

I have the PC-75 Black w/ a side pannel window.
Nice aluminium finish and nice paint job. Looks real nice in the dark with some red led lights :D
I chose the PC-75 because of the design, cost, and size. I didnt want a $200 monster tower PC and the $115 looked like a nice price back when I bought it. The design also combined with my red/orange/yellow solution.

Yeah but too bad it doesn't have any 120mm fans neither do sufficient 5.25" bays (IMO) and BTX support, that's why the 7077 would be the best. Buying a PC75 today without a serious intention to mod it is throwing your cash to the garbage.

I agree, but I like the PC75 because it is so mod-able.

Lian Li cases, especially the newer ones. are really nice.

Have a couple of 6077's and a 7077.

Really like EX-23 module concept and being able to move stuff around on the front.

If you want a prefab window for the 7077 check out one for the pc-75 case - I think it'll fit just fine but haven't verified that.

I'd say 75 for being most spacious, but I really don't like those 80mm fans there

I think there are new models of 65 and 75 where the front intake is a 120mm one.

I like PC-75 as well but it doesn't seems have enough space for me to install my heater core in there .. :)

Can you point a link? I'd really like to see those with 120mm fans.
For now though, I'm looking at silverstone TJ03, TJ05 and TJ06. Those are some very interesting cases with very roomy interior to implement with WC.

I added one of thoose Dual 5.25 Bay to Hard Disk Bay Lian Li converters... The hard drives in thoose mount on rubber grommets with some special Lian Li Screws (kinda similar to the V series hard drive screws)... This should eliminate the prob AND add an extra 80mm intake to the top MB compartment.

Here is what I am talking about:

Hrm... And I just noticed that they have one that takes up 3 5.25 bays and can use a 120mm fan instead of the other versions 80mm...

Now me personally, I was using them extra disk bays just for IDE drives, because trying to run a PCI IDE controller with drives located in the bay on almost the opposite side of the case is a pain.

i really like the curved mesh on the 1200 and the size too. but i think for what you want and for what it's worth, the PC-75 is the best :yepp:

PC-V65 Plus have a 120mm front intake, as for the 75, are you sure it's not the PC-7077 your are talking about ? because a 71/75 with a 120mm intake and a different disposition of the drives is basically a 7077B :)

Thanks :), and I'm thinking on getting a NEC monitor, too (my ViewSonic is turning into crap, literally), but they're hard to get here.
