cause of the big cost of the can,if i just buy an aluminium can and insulate it around with foam about 6-8cm.....you think it's gonna keep the LN2 or it will get too cold and it will break?

you can do it but in my opinion it's can be very dangerous,it would be very well made

it will implode for sure!!!!!

the ln² cans are with a safety valve in case the bottle is closed.

so if you put the top in the container it doesn't seal 100%

Lab guys will sometimes use a regular glass thermos to carry Liquid N2 short distances, but you cannot cap it, and they do break occasionally. The problem is where you get the LN2 from. They're not just gonna fill any old container and let you be on your merry way.

@Jort...at the link you give before there is no a safety valve....but i understand what you mean......!
i think it will be easy to put a safety valve at the cap of the can,so if i close the can to be ok...!but i can have the can opened at the transfer...i only want the ln2 for 5 hours run from the moment i am gona buy it....

i don't think eather you can fill a own made container or something to transport the ln².

you can try, and if it doesn't work run as fast as possible ^^
