I am waitting for my EXOS watercooling setup which comes with 1/4" tubing.

I am thinking of getting a NON koolance block for both my CPU and Graphics card.

Most of them come with wider tubing sizes so it seems impossible to fit the 1/4" tubing.

I found this on the web:
http://www.over-clock.co.uk/acatalog/pumpadapt.jpg
1/4" Threaded compression fittings for blocks & res
For 4mm Internal Diameter Tubing - Ā£2.09 exc vat

So if i understood correctly i would have to get a block with say wider fittings...unscrew its fittings and just screw these ones instead making the block compatible with my EXOS tubing(1/4")?

If yes would those fittings be compatible with all of the waterblocks like DDen-Innovatek-Swifteks etc etc?

I am thinking of doing the same thing for my graphics card block if that is possible.
Ie if i get this block
http://www.over-clock.co.uk/acatalog/graph_1.gif
and replace its fittings with the exact ones i mentioned above

So if all goes well and i can do this mod...would you think NON koolance blocks would give me better performance?Which ones are the best Waterblocks for a GF4-P4 S478CPU?

thanks in advance :)

Did you have to change the waterblocks fittings???

I think the Swifty block comes with 3/8" fitted as standard.
So did you made nay mods for the fittings in order to use the 1/4" tubing?
