hello all ,

building a pc for my brother - we need an AGP card.
now since his case is full of uv lights and cathodes - we decided on a card with led fan.
the two options im considering is -
Asus 6800 gt or bfg 6800 gt oc -

both refubrished from newegg, asus goes for 300, bfg for 336.

what's the better choice? better oc'er ?

thnx !

if you ever want to freeze the card, asus is what you want.

given the prices, I'd get the Asus first anyways.

What about Leadtek's ? It is a good brand , comes with high quality all copper HS ;) Myne overclocks realy good , 440/1200 - 24/7 (water) and up to 486/1280 Benchstable with FastWrites OFF , on watercooling with default 1.3 volts ! Or may be i was just lucky with my card , don't know for sure if it's usual or not for Leadtek's A400GT's :D And the price is just a little over 300 :toast:

My vote goes for BFG, after owning my 6800U, and two 5900xt's, both flashed to 5950's. I got some crazy numbers on the core speeds. Still waiting to chiller watercool my 6800U before I really push her.

I would go with the ASUS. They build very good gfx cards, its cheaper and the OC very good. As Kunaak said if you ever feel the need to freeze them ASUS is definetely the way to go.
