why OCZ ram?

So far I have had my last 3 recommendations to buy 2 x 512mb of OCZ ram. I know not all ram is the same but is the OCZ ram worth twice as much as say corsair ddr400 2x 512? if so why, i did a search on best Ram and couldnt find anything I just want decent ram in my new system and am trying to understand why one is so much better then another.

Personally I like OCZ because they are always right up there in terms of high performance and then you get the best customer service on top of that. Unbeatable combo if you ask me.
