Done anything to your LS1 yet? :)

Btw, nice sandra numbers, especially considering the FSB.

LS1 has Y pipe, loudmouth, slp lower control arms and panhard bar, did some free mods like egr cutoff; put in airlid and K&N. Ripper shifer as it's an M6. The C5 vette rims of course and Powerslot front rotors. Runs low 13's on humid track and poor driver :)

btw cpu is up to 10.5x200 but needs 2.05v to get there

Have an LS1 on a stand at the moment. When money allows (probably wont) an 8200 RPM variant will end up in a S10 :)

Sounds like a fun ride :)

The benches are good.

The cars not as good ;) Come to Europe and get a car that actually goes around corners. A suggest a Caterham R500 ...

ROFL

Yes the mem is dual channel with 2x512mb Corsair PC3200C2 dimms

PS the car corners like it's on rails, will probably pull more g's than an M series B'mmr however transitions between turns ie slalom and on rough pavement the suspension just can't accomodate well. I new C5 vette would be better there. If I hit the lottery I would have a Z06 vette and a BMW M5, but in the real world I have to make due with a normal man's rocket :). Prior to buying our house I had an 11sec mustang that was vortech'd, AL headed, cammed etc... Setup for autocross so it could corner as well, but american live axels kill slaloming or uneven pavement taming.

That comment about European roads cracked me up :)

I have a MSI GF4 4400 ti and now an Epox nforce 2 .. fancy a challenge ?

At present my GF4 runs 304/640 but I think I might be able to get it higher.

USA v Europe .. the Ryder cup of benching .. are you up for it ?

Corrupted my raid array so bad I couldn't even reformat. Had to delete and redo array setup. Reinstalled and put in Radeon 9700 this time. Pulled a 16.3K run in 3DMark with card at 340/640. I need to swap that card out with a better oc'ing one.

Thats with 8RDA? When I push it too far and I have to reset cmos something funky is going on. OS is on a NTFS partition, but I have all other partitions fat32............ when I have a problem booting or kicked out it always checks my fat 32 partitions( chkdsk). I have been wondering for awhile now if after a certain fsb that the so called "Lock" no longer applies....... or maybe just memory errors.
I looked at watchdog log, and it seems that everytime it happens it is caused by ati2dvag( ati 8500 card driver file ) "Thread got stuck in an infinite loop". I haven't even moved the agp lock from default of 66 . I'm wondering whats up with all this.
It's a good board, but I believe there is more performance in it.

nice. that even tops out my Seagate X15.2 18gb/Adaptec 29160. When I get my 5 drive 36Z15 18GB array together, I'll post some benchies ;)

well the car is pretty low as it is. Don't wanna make it ride any rougher. I'm getting older now and that is somewhat of a concern to me :P. My stang was slammed but rode like a brick. This car I had to promise my wife not to mod till I hated driving it :)

Only europeans know how to make a car handle and be compliant over a rough road...

But then we dont have straight roads for 1000 miles... so we have to make em corner properly :D

erm I wouldn't say that is exclusive to europeons :p

Some jap cars like the supra and 300Z twin turbo were pretty good in twisties, and the vette in the C5 version is good too. Just need independent suspension on all corners unlike the stang and camaros.

Does anyone elses Epox nforce 2 make Windows load up really slowly ? I have Windows 2000 and it takes an age to load up. Not helpful when doing benches.

I noticed Gibbo had the same problem as well over at www.overclcokers.co.uk forums ( the review forum ).

Patch it up to SP3 if you haven't already done so.

Someone on here disabled firewire ( in device manager, he wasn't using it ) and said it was booting faster.
