WinXP or Win2k?

Does anyone know if WinXP will run acceptably on a 866mhz P3 with 512mb of PC133?... or should I go with Win2k for this system? This computer will be used by my girlfriend's mom for web browsing, etc.

i dont see why not as long as its temps are kept within an acceptable range.
