I'm posting this here as i supposed there is some european on the forum. What i'm looking for it's some tygon tubing, i tried here (in france) and nobody has ever heard of it  (even on one of the best wc forum in french i had no answer). Do you know an online shop that sells tygon and would ship to france?
I've tried us shop but they always asks me at least 20$ for shipping or more (more likely 50$)

The fact that it costs the same to ship something to France as it does to ship it here to Alaska is disturbing.
Phil
so that'll be $15 for the fan and $23 for shipping....

I just order Clear Flex60 tubing from cool techinca. They say it's virtualy the same as Tygon just for half the price, plus the give you 50% off if you're procooling user (the add is on the front page) and they ship to Slovenia so I guess they'll shipp to you.
I just order 20ft for 15$ plus shipping (still need to get answer).
As for silicon , it is good and soft, but it has few flaws, first it a little porous so water slowly evaporate, plus outside is not completly smooth so dust tend to stick to it.

While we're on the subject, I'm also looking to switch away from silicon, for the water loss reason.

Is vinyl any good? It seems like it's thinner and harder, but other than that, I haven't ever worked with it. Tygon, I have no idea how to find locally.

Vinyl is't good it hardens wit lower temp, plus it kinks very easy.
antipop, I'll send them another email, to what are they asking for shipping. But 45$ is totaly excessive

If silicon is better than vinyl, the only way up from here is to go tygon, then?

ClearFlex is supposedly as good as tygon, but cheaper. You should be able to find tygon somewhere though. Have you tried checking www.usplastic.com , maybe they can accomodate shipping to you. You do have to buy in ten foot lengths though.

I sent them a mail asking for the shipping price anyway those are the cheapest price i've seen on tygon so far (1.65$ per foot)

We have Tygon i Norway, im ordering some for my WC setup. It costs about $1.20 pr metre.

btw Antipop, how is that Maze3 setup of yours performing? Im getting one, but with a better pump than that Eheim (AquaBee 1000litres pr hour) and BI Extreme rad :)

Edit: Shipping inside Norway is expensive, like $18 no matter where you live. Damn state owned mail service crap :)

Duran can i have the url of some web site that sells tygon?
The maze3 is performing very well, i'm very satisfied with it, my load temp never goes above 40°C on my setup (1600+@1850 and 1.85V). I just played age of mythology for an hour and the cpu was at 32°C (window opened and reading from the on-board diod)

Well, the only site i know of is in Norwegian :( Ill see if ill find someone else for you. Unless you understand Norwegian :D

antipop, you have external on die diode reader on kG7 ?
btw I still haven't recieved answer from cooltechinica about shipping prices for clearflex.
DuraN, only 1.2$ per metre that's mighty cheap, silicon here in slovenia cost 8.5$ per metre. Is that 1/2" . Could you please ask for shipping cost to slovenia.

DuraN

That is 1/2 yes. its 13NKR pr metre, thats about $1.2 or $1.5(exchange rate is about 7). I just sent them an email asking! Wont have the answer until later though, as im going to a LAN party without internet connection. But i might use my dads comp for checking emails anyways. Tomorrow perhaps :)

Edit: They changed the prize to about $12 now!?!
Stupid people! It was not a typo either, the prize was $1.2 for 3/8 and $1.5 for 1/2 in abour three months now. LOL just my luck. Sorry mate :(

Now i regret that i didnt order two days ago

DAMN
Ok can someone tell me which one of the Tygons types is good at USplastics, they have so many choices. Or are they all pretty much the same, so it doesn't matter which one I pick ?

DuraN
12-13-2002, 08:00 AM
Tygon R3063(or somethinglike that) are the only choice here, they are supposed to be the best, but the guys who stated that only tested it against some other Tygon that i dont remember what they called.

Oh and BTW they ship internationally :P

Duran I don't read norvegian :( but 10x anyway
morphling1, on my kg7 i can't read the on die sensor of the xp cpu so i have to use the one that is on the mobo (in the middle of the socket)

Thanks,
As for diode I misread that you said on-board diode. But if you read your temps from socket diode, your temps. are not that good, considering you're running only at 1.85V. Because I have that kind of temps on 8k3a on-die diode at 1950 MHz @ 2.1V and 24°C water temp. Maybe your rad and the pump are not doing the job as they should.

I have some noise problem with my pump but i don't think it's related to the temp. I don't know what could be limiting me, the heatercore and the pump are outside of the case, i've a 120mm fan (enermax 64cfm) with a ghetto shroud on the heatercore (the dd one). I've removed the block quite often lately and didn't reapply as2 on it (there is some but i don't think it's enough)

This place is the best place for all watercooling connectors and pipes and is in the UK, so should ship to France.
