Nvidia wanted the money it was supposed to make on every xbox produced with its chips despite bad xbox sales. So MSFT made a less lucrative deal with ATI for XBOX 2 that paid ATI for the technology not the chip in each xbox2.

Really.. Why MTV? I cannot stand that joke of a network.. They dont even play music anymore and when they do its this poppy yeah-yeah crap. Any other time you put it on its got some horny guy going through some whore's underware drawer or some horny guy trying to pick up on three diffrent girls or vice versa. I hate pop culture. Since when did it consist of such smut? I regret being a part of this "Generation X' BS.
Yeah, Its a rant. I just dont like MTV. Then that joke of a show Video Mods.. Such a horrible idea..

Just like the first Xbox. There is not a single good retail game for it. I modded mine and have installed various emulators onto it, but that is beside the point considering that MS doesn't like the idea of you running emulators on it.

Yeah, thats exactly what I did to mine. The only games I care to play on it are all the ones I used to play long ago. Hopefully this time around though.. They can get it right.. and keep its modabillity its predecessor had. >>

Sorry to rain on anyone's parade but from what I can tell, this is merely the product launch - there is no mention of availability, or the fact that we haven't seen 65nm wafers mass produced yet (the IBM PowerPC variant used is slated for 65nm) - again, this just looks to be a product tour . . .
