I have a slipstreamed Windows XP Pro SP1 and I was installing it on an A64 rig and wanted to do the multiprocessor tweak right from the start when installing windows but I noticed that I was missing most of the computer drivers (ACPI uniprocessor driver, ACPI multiprocessor driver, ...)
the only two options I had available were "standard x86 pc" and "other" (or something like that, I can't remember exactly)
later when windows was installed it was the same thing when we tried to update the driver to ACPI multiprocessor, it just wasn't there.
The drivers are on the cd though because I used it on my dothan pc and here I have all the drivers available to me.
any idea as to why I couldn't see those other drivers on the A64 rig?
