i got 477 or 447 Kb/s. interesting because my ISP was supposed to bump me up to 1.5Mb/s yesterday!!!!!!!!!!

i really am irritated with SBC, for about 2 years they were charging me more money for an outdated package, and never called me once to upgrade it to something cheaper, but ultimately better. I think i should ask for one of those nifty 2wire home portals (modem/router/wireless) for all my trouble.

BBB, huh? I'm thinking of upgrading my fiber to 100/100 (from 10/10) as well, it's just that for the 100/100 connection my ISP, Swedish BBB (BredBandsBolaget, 'BroadBandBusiness'), has a 300GB/month limit (download + upload), which sure is annoying.

EDIT: Duude!! your avatar is causing me seizures

I average just under 2mbit. Although, I used to get 1.9 in the bandwidthplace test, it seems to have dropped a bit. I am possibly getting another 2mbit connection on my second phoneline soon, so I will be able to bridge my connections, which will own.

That only looks like a 2.5mbps pipe. Surely with 100mbps you should be getting higher. What raw download rates do you get, I would expect about 10meg a sec just like a LAN connection.

So far I have "only" a 2mbit DL and 256kb upload line. Our managment decided fibers aren't worth it (they cost 800eur to put in), even though a 100mbit DL / 10mbit UL is 70eur a month :(

But 2mbit is enough for most things.
