Are there 64 bit NF3/4 chipset drivers yet? I have a copy (Hmm, that makes it sound like I burned it, but it's a legit one) of win2003 64 sitting in a drawer next to me just waiting.

They are VC drivers.

I need to use ATIs unreleased mobo to have 64 bit drivers?

why would you need that? Just use the drivers that come with XP64 for the chipset etc.

You get crap performance with those.

Isn't VC a codename for one of ATIs new mobos or chipsets? I asked about what chipsets might be compatable and twiggy mentioned VC and linked to ATI.

Sort of.

Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
Version: 6.25 BETA
Release Date: November 19, 2004
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_udp_winxp64_6.25

Windows XP Professional x64 Edition - nForce4 Standalone Kit (6.39) BETA
Version: 6.39 BETA
Release Date: March 1, 2005
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_winxp64_6.39_beta.html

But, what I have found with WinXP 64 Build 1433 is that is loaded all the drivers during installation. It even identified my Radeon X850XT Platinum ! Once installed only the second network driver (Dual LAN) showed up in Device Manager as not installed. Not too bad.

STEvil

Because you seemed to think they were pertaining to something they did not?

I installed these drivers and after reboot no video. Had to reinstall the OS. Tried twice, tried safe mode, no go.

I'm using a X800XL with a DFI NF4 Ultra and a Dell 2405. I am back to Win32 because x64 had issues with the ATI drivers.

I would love some help.

Well I on the other hand just got my highest 3DMark03 stock speed score ever with these.

Scored 13944 ! Previous best was 13749 with 32 Bit Cat 5.2's

3DMark05 also up to 6430 from 6414 with 32 Bit Cat 4.2's
3DMark2001 up to 30505 from 29850 with 32 Bit Cat 4.2's

This impresses me as with their "Beta 4" catalysts my 3DMark03 score was like only 12800 :(

I only lost 1 fps in Doom 3 benchmark ... 110 -- > 109 fps with 64 Bit.

I like em

Do these drivers really activate 64bit functionalities for A64 and Intel 6xx CPU's?
More performance comparisons please :)

Gonna see if they give better performance on my 9600 NP ...

Wouldn't it still run at 32bit unless you are using WindowsXP 64?

There seems to be a newer version of these out ;)

Old version was about 21 MB. These are 31 MB.

not sure if i like this new driver set yet... is it just me or is x64 slow and unresponsive... i find it takes like 2 minutes to exit a game.. when in xp it only took... like 2 seconds.. im running 2.8ghx 255x11 5-2-2-2 ... so you think i should have a snappy system.? it also seems to hog alot more resources that the 32 bit version... i dunno i have all the drivers installed and everything i just dont get good performance with it.
