Apparently, Square Enix released their third benchmarking utility based on the Final Fantasy XI engine and its a big improvement over the second version.

Here's the link to try it for yourself and see what score you get:

http://dl.square-enix.co.jp/taru/FFXiB3Setup.exe

Couple of settings you have to change:

- Under "Play Mode", Un-check the box where it says Demonstration (u can watch this later its pretty good) and under "Resolution" Select "High". And then all you have to do is Click Start.

- You'll know you've selected the right settings when right before the benchmark starts, the bottom of the screen will say 0-H (for High) or 0-L (for low).

REMEMBER THOUGH, that it will not record or present the score to you after it ends, you will have to see what score you get right before the program exit, but this is a minor complaint.

IF you want to, you could test it with diff CPU/GPU overclocks to see how CPU/GPU dependent it is

Now that Final Fantasy XI has been launched for Xbox 360, and currently the ONLY massively multiplayer in any nex gen lineup, I imagine more ppl would like to try it out..

Dload only takes 5 mins ppl, if you're getting the X360, this is worth a try ;)

That's very nice actually...anything over 7999 score in low is basically off the charts ;)

Though what are your rig specs ??
