I and several other 8RDA+ owners have been having problems with Corsair XMS 3000-3500 mem at certain speeds over 166fsb.
Can you post what mem you have and what speeds you have it run at successfully, specifically with no C1 errors at Post..
I did have some similar problems with the Asus, but that just wouldnt boot, at least the epox gives me some feeback...
Well I can't even boot with 2 sticks...... this blows as of right now, more more to do.

tell Caper he doesn´t need to do a blind flash on te graphics card
using a pci vga card to boot and the "dead" nvidia card on the agp slot
nvflash flashes the "dead " nvidia AGP card
I know I saved one GF3 like that
im banned there and I really dont want to go to that "Inquisition" king of censorship forum
I sent him a PM, and I told him to check it. Best I can do bro.....

I´ll have to try that, thanks for the tip!!
Edit: The Ti4600 seems to be smoked.
Booted up with PCI gfx and the Ti4600, when trying to flash I get following error message: No NVIDIA display adaptors found.
Visiontek is not selling in Europe anymore, warranty seems to have expired also.
Atleast the distributor here in Sweden told me so, the card came with 3 year warranty but it seems nothing worth now

if the card is less than a year hold the shop ows you a card ;) (I think)
When you buy something the warranty contract is to the store were you bought the product , at least thats how it works in Portugal :)
it´s a contract with you and the shop for a year , the other 2 years left the warranty obligation is up to the factory only
check your lawyer :)
maybe you get lucky :)
Nothing useful over there aside from BIOS updates anymore anyway, SKATAN. I don't go there anymore...every once in a while for a fresh 8K3A BIOS to try ;)
Daniel ~ is 1 odd fella.
Update: I have 1 bad stick... I swear I checked them BOTH seperately yesterday, but alas I double checked this morning, and 1 of the sticks will NOT post regardless of settings/slots.
Repeat I HAVE 1 Bad stick, rma'ing as we speak.
muzz,
You sounded like a plane going down with the "repeat..." ;)
Sux you got a bad stick, but glad to hear you figured your problem :)
Heheh N8 , yep I know I stated it, but just wanted to make sure it was understood........ you been in forums awhile.... and you know how it works.;)

I can tell you this:
The 8RDA+ is going to get a Vmem mod because one of it's problems is a lack of voltage at high FSB settings. 2.9v doesn't cut it..and I pray that ABIT hears us and adjusts their voltage figures.
I'm using a stick of Corsair XMS3200 C2 in dim1, and a stick of Twinmos (winbond chipped) in dim2. A major mismatch if ever there was one...but mine works but at 2.9v to do it. Running at 207Mhz is possible if I reduce all the memory timings except cas2...but not 100% stable. MORE VOLTAGE !!!
I'll be posting stock 2700+ 3Dmark scores with a STOCK, unmodded Radeon9700 with only driver tweaks...it's not too shabby:) OPP posted the KD7 at stock clocks and I matched his settings to compare to the NForce2. I believe I bested the KD7 by 400 points at stock speeds. CAN'T wait to get my hands on the NF7-S;)
Randi:D
Cool Randi .... I'll be waiting to hear how ya make out.... and looking for the vdimm mod of course..:D
Thanks

Try using dim1 and dim3.
I have only one stick, 512 Mb Corsair XMS3500C2.
Currently running 211 fsb 2.0-2-2-5 rock solid using 2.9 vmem/dim1, haven´t tried less yet.
In dim2 the memory was not able to to more than 207 2.0-3-3-6, not quite stable either.
Fot those having problems with C1 postcode, connect the fans to molex connectors if you have them at the motherboard connectors.
That helps.

You may be right randi, I have sorted the POST issues by removing all fans from the mobo headers, and can post all the way to 211fsb wid my corsair mem at 2-5-2-2
sone a quick benchie of pifast at only 12.5 x 200 and it looks promising...
trouble is now I got no cooler on me NB and its hot enuff to fry an egg on...
Gonna back it off till I can get a decent connection for my NB/ram fan....
heres the benchie anyway 12.5x200

If I can get it to run stable at 13x211 I will be a very happy "top of the pifast AMD" person :D

I spoked with the reseller now, they´r good :)
They will replace the GF4 with any gfx I want.
I bought the GF4 last spring, get the same money back.
So...I can choose a Radeon 9700 Pro and still get money back.
Nice Deal!
Any suggestions what gfx to choose?
Have no experiences with ATI at all.
Thats awesome news Caper......... thought you were gonna get screwed cuz VT went under. And some folks wonder why you go to a good retailer instead of the lowest price..........
