Hey!
I just registered here yesterday and I'm having problems with my copy of wXP x64. :(
When I log in to the OS, it gives a message, which more or less says something like this: "A Machine Check Error has ocurred. Please, check eventlog for more information". And I can't guess what causes it. If I say OK, it comes up again like 5 minutes later, and it becomes a loop.

Does somebody know what can cause it?

Thanks you all guys! :)

Are all your drivers installed correctly? I remember getting that error before. I don't remember what driver I didn't have installed that caused that error.

Oh, and I have to add that the message appeared even during the OS instalation, after having formatted. :P

Thnx.

What build are you using?
I found v.1280 to be a bit iffy, but v.1433 is rock solid on my rig :D

Final should be available in a week anyhow, with any luck driver support will follow.

Could be your 6800..there is a known bug with 6xxx nvidia series and service pack2 or windows64 if I recall. I haven't tried 64 and only run pack1 for that reason. Let me look for a post somewhere on it. here (http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showthread.php?t=148297) I'm not positive this is exactly the promblem you're having but maybe it will help

But I guess I can't do that if I'm running my x64 OS, cuz it needs it, doesn¡t it?
Anyway, I went back to regular wXP because of some problems, and I will download the x64 again and will try it.

Thnx you both! :)
