Looks like the .13 Celly's are going to be no more. The last order date is May 20 and the final shipment date is October 21, while the tray versions will stay until March 24, 2006.

wonder if they will intro new celerons with 512kb L2 cache or if the single core cpus will be the new celerons...

They should have stopped making htem a long time ago, they don't make the old P4 any more do they? The newer ones are a lot better. Mine at 4 GHz = Pentium M @ 1.7!

i wonder if this is to make room for new Pentium D coming? everything will be named under pentium in desktops. i think this is a good idea, because a Pentium 4 660 can be had for very little price, and intel is pushing 65nm that should improve yields. the cost of making a 65nm P4 will be equivalent to a 130nm celeron.

and this could hurt the sempron.

well your title and the news entry sounds like all celerons are going to be discontinued wich is a whole different thing that intel discontinueing the 130nm celerons wich i didnt even know they were still making :P
