Someone wants to buy my MSI 845E mobo, which is a good opportunity to buy a better overclocking mobo. This MSI doesn't allow the 3:4 divider at 133FSB and locks up at 169 FSB.

I've been looking around can't make up my mind... :help:

I've got 2 sticks of corsair XMS3200 & a well overclocking P4 2.53B to use it with.

Onboard 5.1 sound is required, LAN is a big plus, IDE Raid controller isn't really necesarry, SATA is ok, but I don't want to spend 100$ extra for it.

The Abit BE7 seems to fit to my needs, but i've heard some worrying things about their bios. It isn't just the no nonsense version of the IT7 Max2 v2?

European prices, consider yourself one lucky US citizen. :/

The albatron 845PE ProII seems very attractive: SATA, intel nic, 5.1 sound, raid,... for only €150 (~150$). I hate choice. :)

Sure they can. An Euro is worth more than a US$ these days. :D

I have the IT7 Max2 v2.0 and it's a great board. It performs slightly better than the original IT7, but allows stronger memory timings at higher speeds, compared to the IT7.
Doesn't the BE7 has a memory limit to 2.7V ?

If you're interessted, I might sell my IT7 (red boxed) for around 110-120€.

The epox4GEA+ is looking a good OC beast. Great range of voltages, good steady power circuitry. Has all the gear you will need, IDE raid, Sata Raid, Firewire.
Have had mine for a week, I love it!
