including windows itself.

all of a sudden, it takes windows 4x as long to load as it used to, and programs are loading slower from the HD as well.

cpu usage seems to be at 100% more often, and sometimes (including at the windows welcome screen) the mouse is VERY jerky...

i've defragged, scanned for viruses, adware, all multiple times. (actually, this did help some, i was at windows taking like 5 minutes to load, now im down to 2, but it used to be 30 seconds flat)

i ran western digitals "quick test" from their floppy drive, found no errors, so i doubt its the HD itself.

anything else i can do other then reinstall windows?

EDIT: oh, and forget about music, even from online radio stations, not just music i have on my hard drive.

It definitely sounds like some sort of Malware. Check this out:

You can go to http://hijackthis.de and paste your hijackthis log.
