Looking for some of the highest output Infrared leds for my Eyetoy.

Bored with the silly thing, I decided to take the camera apart and remove the Infrared filter from the lens. That was easy, and now I can see infrared light.. But I wanna take it further. Theres a blue led that constantly shines while the eyetoy has power, and I would like to replace that sucker with the highest output Infrared led I can to make it a spotlight of sorts.

Oh, And if someone can point me in the direction of making an infrared led array, please tell me how to or show me.

you could use a cone shaped peice of lense (glass, crystal, etc) and several leds so its like a headlight on a car kinda..

That would be pretty neat.. But would the 5v on the usb line be sufficient to rig something like like that? This is a digital camera were talkin about here. If youve ever seen an eyetoy, its not too terribly big.
