Was wondering if i could use 50k ohm pot instead of a 47k ohm pot???No one here in Vancouver seem to carry any 47k ohm pots

50k pot, 47k pot, same thang. Many places carry 47k, not 50.
Use 47k Pot for volt modding your kx7.
