I'm new to networking, and just got a D-Link DI-624 router with matching wireless card. So far I have setup the connection on both computers

Main computer - directly to router with RJ-45 cable
Secondary computer - wireless card to router (good connection)

Both systems are running Windows XP Professional.
Main computer is running ZoneAlarm firewall, secondary computer is just using BitDefender Antivirus integrated firewall.

How would I go about sharing the printer and/or files with these two computers?

I'm thinking go to Control Panel > Network Connections > Set up a home or small office network

But I have done that before on a different computer and it never worked... maybe the firewall was blocking something but I'm not sure.

Could anyone point me to a tutorial on how to do this?

Thanks

try disabling the firewalls first... once you get it working, turn the firewalls back on slowly until it all works and you're protected.
