can i use arctic silver termal compound to glue them on? will it conduct enough electricity to work? :confused:

no its working! posting with this cpu right now... its a tualatin 1.3@1.6 ...the two pins that cracked of are vcc pins...what are they good for? voltage?

I broke a few pins off a k6-2
still runs to this day

no prob... it depends on what pins you kill, if its just a vcc pin (there are about 80 vcc pins on my P3 celeron) then it doesnt really matter i guess. wel ocability suffered a lot though...i could reach 1.6ghz+ with that P3 before, now its like 1500... i just glued the pins on with arctic silver termal compound yesterday...i hope it conducts enough electricity to make it work again....:(

if you break off the wrong pin..you can screw the entire proc...but you if you are lucky...and just broke off some vcc pins...you should still be able to run, albiet your overclocking potential has prob gone out the window

well i can still oc it from 1.3 to 1.6ghz, but no matter at what speed it runs it will crash after 6 hours or so...
