Hi,

The Vertex mod nearly always works. Why do you say it is impossible to unlock the 4th quad to give you 16 pipelines, have you tried it ? Mine did not work but some do.

The BIOS mod is best done using Omniextreme software version 1.5 ( from memory ).

The NV41 only has 12*1.5, their is no extra quad or vertex.

It's a differend core then the NV40 right?

you're right, PCI-E 6800 physically only has 12/6. No softmods, no hardmods, nothing will make it to 16/6. Not like my funky little AGP 6800 i'm using!!

And if it has good cooling, take it up to 1.5v (i have...it works great)

I can't remember how, go to forums.guru3d.com there are plenty of explanations there.

You can, if nvidia is shipping 6800nu pci-e with NV40 core + HSI bridge.

The native pci-e NV41 core doesn't have the extra 4 pipes on the core.

I had 12239 with my Asus 6800NU using only 1.3V at only 415/890mhz whit a crappy P4 at 3.3ghz. Nice, huhh :D

with 1.5v i've got to 440 on an AGP Leadtek 6800. That's my highest, anything above and it crashes. Temps are 70c at highest so i suspect voltage is the issue, but i'm not ready to hardmod my only decent graphics card, as i have no free money atm.

What are the highest OC's achieved on these things? And i'd rather those with Asus 6800NU didn't join in, those things are cheating.

im having a hard time finding out how to give the gpu more volts id say 1.4 would be great. I have omniextreme 1.5 downloaded is this the right one? and if so could anyone tell me or show me a link on a step by step walk through

any help greatly appreciated

Use NVflash to back up your BIOS, open it in OEE, change the voltages, save it, flash it onto your card with NVflash. Get NVflash from guru3d.

So the PCie version of 6800 only has 12 pipes total .. that's a shame. Bit like the 6200turbocache only having 4 mac as well.
