Here is a little windows trick Good for those who like to mess with their os.
This is to customise the system properties, details and picture.
All that is needed is two files:
Oeminfo.ini
Oeminfo.bmp
I have provided these files, but if you want to modify them yourself, then here is how:
Oeminfo.ini
System Properties/Support Information create oeminfo.ini (containing headings
[General]
Manufacturer=
Model=
[Support Information]
Line1=" "
Line2=" "
See my attached files from more info.
Oeminfo.bmp
The bmp picture should be 182 pixels wide, and 114 pixels high.
These files need to be in:
Windows 98: C:\WINDOWS\system
Windows 2k: C:\WINNT\system32
Windows xp: C:\WINDOWS\system32
It could be a good idea to back up your original oem files.
After that you can press your windows key and pause/break to get your system properties box displayed.
