View Full Version : Where is the 3DMark03 sticky?
I thought there used to be a 3DMark03 sticky for scores....or am I remembering wrong? I wanted to check scores for AMD 64 3000's and 3200's...but I can't seem to find it.
Well...the orb doesn't exactly allow me to discuss options with members of this board who are running hardware that I am looking at.
On that line of logic, why do we have a 3DMark01 sticky?

If you want an 03 sticky, you have to be more specific. If you want 03 scores based on processor, you're better off asking for the CPU Test scores from members 3200+/3000+ for stock and highest OC, if they're willing to do that.
Though the ORB does have processor comparison or something like that, doesnt work too well but maybe someone here knows more about it ?

tbh i dont remmeber seeing a 2k3 sticky, 2003 was never really accepted by benchers until the latest cards were anounced :)
Also...I think that the ORB will allow you to pick the generic A64 category, and the MHZ clock range, but you cannot specify if they are using a Winchester, Newcastle, 3000+, 3400+ 1MB, etc...that is the info I am after.

yeah, the orb is really bugged when it comes to selecting different cpu types and speeds...
Hmm...I guess there really is no way to find out who is running 64 3000+, 3200+'s and what they are scoring in '03?
I am finally about to upgrade, and I am trying to get a general idea.
What if someone overclocked the processor? It would then be outside the range you have listed. The ORB isn't an accurate source for the information I need....period.
This thread has been referenced as a reason why there isn't a 3DMark03 sticky. There is one for SLI '03 scores at this point, but no single card scores.
Why is there no sticky again?

No, you can't close this, but can sure jump in and crap this thread like you did mine.

Anyhoo, if you want to start one, I'd begin by searching the forums and start to list 03 scores by yourself and surprise ppl here by listing their scores by yourself :up: , its what I would've done had I wanted one so badly :rolleyes:
Though even if you did start one it would be really hard to maintain with all the scores etc and you'd have to find a way to categorize them and make sure you have a way so that members dont dispute their scores.
Though most of us here have SSs of our scores so why dont you go ahead and start one, you'd be the first to do so ;) .

We don't have mbot, so it's a little more basic for us....... but I'm still not seeing why you guys couldn't do something like that over here. If someone could post in plain speech why you don't accept it whether it's because it can be hacked (although if '03 can be hacked, couldn't '01?) or some other reason.
