I haven't noticed any extra features yet, but the speed is improved slightly.

only by a little bit, i found the other one fast enough if you enabled 30 maxrequests for the network http pipelining.

Have you tried enabling browser.turbo.enabled? I don't know what it does, but it says turbo, and it's there, so it must do something good. I've enabled it and noticed a slight speed increase.

Edit- o man i think i know why its called turbo, i have 5mb cable and before i turned that on i didnt think browsing got any faster but this is insane! Instant page loads, i love it, thanks for the tip master!

Type about:config in the adress bar.
Scroll down until you see "browser.turbo.enabled".
Should be set at "false" by default. Double click it to enable it (="true")

I have experimented with every networking option, content option and some other stuff to get the ultimate preferences! Now stuff loads at least 5 seconds faster. I'll post it if anyone wants it.

the turbo option gave me errors everytime i started up firefox after it was enabled. i had to reinstall firefox 1.0.1, no big deal though as i didn't have to reinstall my profile. firefox is already fast enough for me with these tweaks:

thats odd what internet speed are you running? Maybe with slower internet it cant enable turbo? (not sure if you really do have slow internet or not)

Had already done the 30max pipeline tweaks, Then I did the turbo. It seems to load faster for me here at work, even on our slow network. Can't wait to try it at the house.

Wow, this is getting alot faster now. I tried a trunk release of FF and applied every tweak I could find. Although, trunk releases are horribly buggy. Not recommended for regular browsing imo.
