Yes yes, I understand that most people here probably don't like Neons. After driving a 95 neon for nearly 2 years now i decided, screw what other people think this car rocks. Fast, good econ (30-36mpg), excellent handling, great snow driving. So when an 04 Neon R/T basically landed on my lap i snagged it. I love it. I remember the dodge neon tour of the SCCA, they had events on weekends and stuff for them. Cute little cars, about equivalent to the chevy cavalier.

30-36 MPG eh? Experience, or advertised?

too bad you didn't take any pictures of your car with more interesting cars in the background.

I agree with Slly on the quality and feel. My friend who used to own a recent cavy agrees. You're right though, the cars are typically classified together in the small car segment. The mileage i quoted was experienced, there was varaince, but in normal 70/30 (city/hway) driving that's what i got. I drove the car 34k miles in 2 years, so mileage is something that is fairly important to me.(if i were to have kept a running tally i think 32mpg was typical) The new car has only been through one tank, so i don't know what it will be... but it looks to be about 29mpg this tank.

Slly, i guess you'd be referring to the SRT-4 in the background :p:. If there were a car that screamed overclocker... that is it. You already knew that though ;) .

I don't think you can compare the rsx to the neon fairly due to price...

Yup, that and being i work in an area where us automakers ARE the economy... i think it's wise for me to consider those vehicles first. It doesen't hurt when you can get an almost brand new car for 52% of it's initial value. ;)

If you want an srt-4 why not take it to the Xtreme :)

To be honest i wanted an srt-4 but i just couldn't get a deal on one. Cars that sell well are much harder to get for cheap.
