P4 3.06 & GB board: advice

Since I'm getting some material to kick some "holy" digital ass :D I wanted to make sure I buy right :)

I'm getting a P4 3.06 and a Gigabyte 8INXP, but over here (http://www.tbreak.com/reviews/article.php?cat=&id=168&pagenumber=3) , they say it's a no-no over 170FSB :(
Is this the real max of this board or should I buy ASUS (I'm not really fond off those brands :mad: )

Thinking I'm best with the Gb board :)

PS: JC, could you check again for that Prometeia (black one) and can we use your DDR for testing since I'm not gonna buy 2 DDR's from Corsair, a bit too expensive eh ;)

I have a few GB boards incomming, not sure of the exact specs (bios setting) yet but I will post what I find out on each.

we'll see what happens with that board. i'm not convinced it'll outperform the IT7 for 3Dmark, or equal its overclockability. But we'll see I guess.

Friend of mine in holland is testing one right now. Runs very well he says, but for some reason 3Dmark is crashing even at stock speeds. Maybe a BIOS update or a fresh install will solve that... we'll see
