In the review the editor reported that there a hidden async ddr354 mode using easytune.

Not to be a conspiracy theorist... but anyone else notice that anandtech's 8INXP board was by default running on an FSB of 139mhz, and the OC Workbench board is by default running with 354 DDR (though a 132mhz fsb). These are some pretty significant performance changes that would definitely be skewing benchmarks.

Not to say they did it on purpose, in fact I don't think that they would. But if it wasn't done on purpose, that means there are some quality control issues going on here. Of course those boards are both pre-release silicon, so who knows... we'll see what's up once the boards hit retail.

I just read tbreak's article on this board. Seems Anandtech probably accidentally caused the 139mhz FSB themselves as that's what happens when you turn on the "top performance" option in the bios.
