5.1 w/o software?

Just a little question: just reformatted my computer, except I can't seem to find the disk to my Aud 2. I downloaded the newest drivers from Creative, but I only get 2.1 channel. Am I going to have to rip my room apart looking for that disc just to get some 5.1 action? Or is there a way to enable that without the software?? If not, any place I can get it if I can't find the disc?

did you set windows to 5.1 sound or is it still in the defualt stereo?

Set it to 5.1. (The settings in Control Panel->Sounds and Audio, right? If so then yup.)

I had the same problem here. You can only dl driver updates at creative.com. Maybe the link above works but I got myself a replacement on the edonkey network :).
