Ok,
what's your setup?
Is it an engineering sample 3.06??
Abit IT7 M2V2 mobo
Prometeia

what spec RAM?
volts, BIOS settings, temps, etc???
fsb ratio, speeds??
I heard the engineering samples bite.
On Anandtech ( I think) I saw an air cooled 3.06 hit 3.76!!!
Might have been different site...

Something is wrong, I can reach 3.9GHz with straight watercooling. I can post beyond 4Ghz

It might be your mobo limiting the 170FSB and beyond like mine.

I would watch your vcore dipping under load. I had mine at 4002 on my P4PE before it died. I'm going to the IT7 and see what I get.

Thanks Twiggy. The board won't boot anymore. It almost gave me a heart attack cuz I thought my chip died, but I have it on the IT7 and it works. :)
