A little while back I took my Winfast GeForce2 GTS 32MB and found a voltage mod article online and well, went into the shop and fired up the soldering iron.

I used this GeForce2 --> Quadro mod (http://www.tweakhardware.com/guide/quadro/) guide and this Volt Bod guide (http://www.xbitlabs.com/video/geforce2-overclocking.html). I only used the resistor to raise the Vcore, not the memory.

Well, powering it up on my Via chipset mobo gave me repeated long beeps, no display. Powered down. After that, the computer wouldn't turn on anymore. New PSU and still nothing - I think the mobo and GF2 are dead, anyone think otherwise?

Is there a chance the card is recoverable if I reverse the mods?
What did I do wrong?

Don't know if it will help, but what do you have to lose ?

get the thing back to how it as before...maybe some resistor burned out ...dunno...doesnt the quadro mod alone increase the voltage already? i think so, because quadros run @ higher speeds and therefor get more voltage i think...

I'm scared even if I revert it to the way it was, I will fry my next motherboard...
