Hey...

I think that the VGPU mod is a bit... Hard... Not to advanced, or hard to do, but I cant see how I can keep my warrenty while using it...

Then I fought "ahh, the x850XTPE bios might give more power to he GPU"
Am I wrong ? :)

With the card I can do 616,5 / 625 bench stable (use watercooling)

I can "only" run 591/625 rock stable (no artifacts)... - 03 nature test gives it a hard time :P

Is there any bios "modd" that would help me out... Or do I need to do it the hard way? :(

Best regards

Voltage isn't controlled by the bios on ati iirc, so you would have to vmod it,pencil mod didn't work for me so i just did it the hard way

yea, ATI doesnt control voltage through the bios. Try your luck with the pencil mod. If it doesnt work, that means you'll have to do it the hard way.

Uhm... Its a PowerColor x850XT... Got some pictures somewhere.... But... I need you to be 100% sure its the right way... Cause Im totally lost about that stuff with measuring points...

Pencil mod - I dare - But the hard way = no modd :(

Can I get you guys to send me picture of pencil modd over mail or MSN ?

PS: If the pencil mod would do, 1,60-1,7v is the best, right? - Not too rough for 24x7 usage, but neither too low for one heck of an OC?

Yea, 1.7 should be ok for watercooling. here's the link to the volt mod: http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/voltmods/112

The difference is that there is a actually no difference.... Its only that the XT PE is clocked higher stock.... But they should overclock the same, but you have more chance with the PE since it is already clocked higher...
