Windows SP2 help!

I bought win xp pro w/ sp2 the other day. Installed it yesterday and was working fine etc.

I booted up the pc today and it messed up things im sure.

First of I got totally black desktop. I restarted. Looked fine but I got the egg timmer when moving over an Icon or taskbar, couldnt click anything.

I logged off and logged back on, now Im able to click on things etc and use my pc.

Anyways, is there anyway of uninstalling SP2 off my pc? I dont want it lol, seems to be casuing more problems that anything atm.

Help would be much appreciated.

well those problems dont sound like SP2 related stuff, sounds like spyware to me,make sure your comp is completely clean before doing any uninstalling of SP2...

i would use either ad aware link:

or i would use spybot link:

run a hdd test to see if your hdd is still in good shape.

lol, it aint spyware or adware or nothing I can gurantee that ;)

Im a very careful user when it comes to that and rearely get it on my pc.

I dont think its sp2 doing that..

I also dont think you can uninstall sp2 if the initial install was a cd with sp2 on it already..
