Windows xp64 for free?

Hey,

Is it true that when xp64 is realeased, that you can send in your old windows xp home/pro cd in and they will send you back xp64 for free?

Or is this just a rumor?

That's what they said....seeing as it wouldn't make much sense to buy windows xp again just to get 64-bit extensions.
