hi
1 simple question:
will 2 modules of ram work in DC with the booster in the dimm closest to the cpu on a nf7-s ?
btw which dimm is dimm3 :confused:

Yes, the booster will work in slot 1 as you describe. Watch for the heat sink hitting the capicitor that is infront of the dimm slot. You may need to change or move the heatsink to allow it to fit.
Dimm 3 is the farthest from the CPU. :)

thnx, is it easy to replace the heatsink ? Does it come of easy ?

It comes off, but only do so if it's needed. Becarefull as the MOSFET's are not anchored to the PCB and will pull away. Just look at the back and pull easy, holding the mosfets with a safe tool.
IF you run the booster without a HS, you had better have a fan blowing on the booster. The MOSFET's get really hot.
