Hi, I have same problems running Super_Pi at 270x10 with my setup. Before running Super_Pi at 270x10, I used Memtest to test the timmings and run 50+ passes without any errors. I used 1.525v + 110%=1.6775v for the CPU, 1.6 and 1.7v for the Chipset, and couldn' t even finish 4 loops of Super_P1 1M test.

thanks in advance,
Matias.

CPU oc 2 high, lower the CPU frequency.

Yes, it could be a possible solution, I have used Super_Pi at 265x10 with no problem, getting 33s, but I wanted to get a better score.
Windows run flawlessly at 270x10 and memtest passed 50+ times without any error, so I guess it was fine, but Super_pi failed at loop4.

Thanks.

Is it Prime-stable?, if it is, it should be superpi-stable.

No, I used memtest only, because my cpu reports very high temps, and I know this is not true because the heatsink is not even warm and running Prime95 reaches peaks of 65°c and the pc shuts down :(
I have tried all the bios available for my mobo, but I don't have any luck with this.

how tightly do you have the HS screwed on?

It's an XP-120 craig588. It is attached by clips to the retention frame that came with the XP-120.
