6000GB != cheap, no matter where.

This seems to be one of the only places offering almost 6TB a month, although a 5TB/month plan costs $2590 per month

Yea, that kind of bandwidth is not going to be cheap, no matter who you get it from.

bittorrent was meant for distributing large amounts of data/media/etc quickly. www.bittorrent.com

find a site that will host all of your media but only give you a limited throughput. http://www.streamload.com/Account/Pricing.asp

for the rest, rely on p2p technology.

I doubt that any sites will advertise such a plan. You would probably need to do a colocation plan but contact the people that host the large sites and I am sure they could get you a price. But as mentioned earlier 6tb is not going to be cheap because you need 6tb+ or storage...etc... Good luck

My server has 1TB of bandwidth per month. PM me if you would like to have a site on it.

6000 GB / month =
6144000 MB / month =
49152000 MBit / month...

you'll end up getting a 20-25 MBit line and it will STILL be slow because of peak times. being realistic, 30 Mbit will probably cut it. no matter what, it wont be cheap... somewhere around $1200/month, considering $40/mbit is a good price.

Jeesh you want something stupidly fast... I think it will cost you like £500 per month for a server with those specs mate.

Have a look on google and such. I shall ask some of my collegues too.

Yeah, tube is spot on. 6000GB is almost 19Mbit average, so your peak is going to be much higher than that.

Here is going to be the cheapset option: http://www.fdcservers.net/dedicated.html - get a 100Mbit unmetered server from FDC for $250/month. However, the bandwidth is completely oversold (so you won't ever get close to 100Mbit), the network is unstable (so lots of random, uncontrollable downtime), and there is basically no support. However, you wanted cheap at the expense of everything else right?

Bandwidth is not cheap, especially good bandwidth, and bandwidth quality varies widely from provider to provider, just like anything else. "You get what you pay for" is definitely true in the hosting industry. Like others said, you should really be looking into Bittorrent if the files are that popular.
