Mitsubishi MegaView™ Pro 37
So, I've been shopping for a good second monitor to for the fx-55 system I have . . . I was looking at LCD's over 20" and wasn't too razzed about the cost. Then I found this Mitsubishi MegaView™ Pro 37" CRT Monitor on auction from HP. It has a VGA connector on RGB2 which does VGA, S-VGA, and XGA-2 up to 1280 x 1024/75 Hz at 24-bit (16.7M colours) as well as NTSC, SECAM, PAL, M-NTSC formats. It has a slew of other audio/video connectors for high end applications. I check with www.mitsubishi-megaview.com tech support on the VGA connection before I bought it.
Best part, I won the auction at $195 +tax and its from HP which does all their auctions through www.Dovebid.com. I've bought a lot of used servers from them and they check out their equipment they sell through Dovebid before they auction it, unlike some other sites.
I realize that this is humongous for a monitor, but I think it will suit me perfectly for a second monitor/gaming from a distance and watching the "videos" I get off the internet ahahhaha and I know I won't be able to have it right in front of me. I'm jazzed. It makes me [H]ARD.
Thoughts? Opinions? Please speak up freely ;)
Here's where I got it and here are the specs:
