i cant disagree with that advice, raptors are great stuff

if you looking for a cheep drive then the raptor is not the way to go but they are very fast i have to say if you have an extra 50-60 to spend on one go for it you will not be dissapointed. But enought with the raptor your looking for a regular hdd then you will probably want a seagate or wester digital. While seagate has every thing going for it 5yr. warentee and only 2.5bels an industry best for hdd; but western digital is a cheeper drive but by no means is it an inferior drive. Oh and right now newegg has the wd raptors for 176 with a 25 mail in rebate

I would look at the Hitachi drives as well. They have been getting some nice reviews from what I have seen and you can grab a 80gb sata version for about $70.

Go seagate. I have both WD's and Seagates. One of my WD's gained a squeel when it's turned on (the other is fine) and over time just becomes downright unbearable. Seagates are great HD's imo.
