2 sticks of corsair XMS3500 256Mb & ABit GB7 (dual ddr) mobo will satisfy your needs. :)

If you really can't wait for the GB7 (it will take a couple weeks before it reaches the retail market), go for the abit AT7 Max2 v2 (845pe chipset).

Yep, the IT7 Max 2 v2.0 is a pretty nice board.
I got mine a couple of days ago and so far, it's seems OK. Memory performance is good, and overall stability is very good, as usual for an ABIT board.
The Corsair memory is good too, although I have some mixed feelings about the 512MB PC3500 module. I have one and after getting a replacement, I must say that it's not as good as my PC3200 module.
I'm trying a 256MB PC3500 module now, which performs better than my 3500 module. Probably gonna RMA that stick and get 2*256MB modules.

Why do you need such high $$ ram when you only get a 1:1 ratio on the GB you suggest. Seems like a waste You could get by with good ddr that will at least do Cas2 @ 180 fsb, Which is were all my chips seem to max out anyway. 1.6a @ 2880, my 2.8, and my 1.8..

On an IT max yes get the corsair.
