I just blew up my stick of PQI turbo memory and desperately need something that will do very good speeds...

I would ideally like to run at DDR650 for 1:1 with my CPU , but fiding a memory that will do it is highly unlikely! It will probably run at 4:5 of cpu clock!
so i have the following propositions

Mushkin 512MB (2x256MB) DDR400 PC3200 Level One Dual Pack 2-3-2
GeiL Ultra Platinum PC4400 DDR550 2x256MB 512MB Dual Ch
Twinmoss PC4400 DDR550 2x256MB 512MB Dual Ch
2 * 256MB Corsair pc3500 BH-5 (ddr 433)
Winbond BH-5 (BH5) PC3200 DDR400 RAM UNBRANDED
Crucial Ballistix PC4000 2X256

included pic of unbranded MEM :)

unbranded won't run DDR650, but will do well with tight timings and lots of voltage. Also try and get some mem with TCCD in it, those are great fsb overclockers.

That BH5 is the best ram there, it will do 260MHz with 2-2-2 timings with enough voltage.

well actually i want DDR 750 but thats just  :banana4:

so 50 UK pounds for 2X256 of winbond BH5, which the guy has run at 235 2-2-2-5 at 2.8V should be a good purchase?

You aren't going to get anywhere near DDR650 w/ BH-5... if you want high FSB and only need 2x256, get G.Skill PC4800 LA.

problem is im

1) On a budget
2) In the UK

the only place that stocks G.skill is the crappy memory
retailer in ireland which is a BL@@DY Rip off

Oh and this will run in conjunction with my 2X256 Mb
sticks of ADATA Vitesta DDR500
before i had 2XAdata + 2XPQI powerseries but pqi did not like
3.4V and one of the sticks just gave up

Why not just get more of the same ram then?
