They have about the same average, so just go with visual, availbility, price choice.

BTW: Normally Heatspreaders are not an advantage;)

I dont know...I dont see too many OCZ memory sticks running at 5-3-3-2.5 at 275FSB/HT...while I see quite a bit of the LE and LC's running at those settings...

My LC's run at 5-3-4-2.5 now after letting them settle in for a few weeks...and can run up to 290FSB at those timings...

I personally, can benchmark at 5-3-3-2.5/1T/1:1/2.85v at 278 max...(cpu memory controller craps out after 2.78Ghz)

Well, if you want FSB speed, and want a 1GB kit, go with the LE's, or try your luck with LA's (my case :D)

But for personnal opinion, I would take the G.skill, but for the reasons I mentionned higher, my opinion is not much compared to his opinion since HE will be the buyer....

To clarrify a little...I dont run the LE's...I run the LC's which are rated at 8-4-4-2.5...and if the LC's can do something like that...the LE's should be right there if not better ;)

But definetly true on that these are just both our opinions and that his opinion is the one that matters :toast:

I think I may get rid of my 1GB Rev2 and pick up 1GB g.skill LE's, as I cannot get anything stable above 257FSB. I have benched higher but shortly after system hangs, BSODs or freezes. The Rev2 runs great at stock speed but purchased my NC to overclock not run stock.

Just my $.02

I'm guessing this is for an AMD rig. Go with the GSKILL.
2*256- LA
2*512- LE

I am going to monitor that thread you started also. Thanks for the heads up as I am getting :upset: since I have transitioned to this setup. All I wanted was an A64 cpu (other than a FX-55) and memory that I could use with my Mach I or II at sub-zero temps.

Yeah,
They're killer sticks, if your memory controller can handle it.

Having the 1Gb LA kit myself, trying 3 different Winchesters, I was unable to run above 280Mhz, 2.5-3-3-7, 1T with them.
Guess the memory controllers were crap.

So I sold my sticks. :(
