man i bought some of this stuff from zzf and i have to say im impressed. i threw it in and started playing with it. off the bat i wanted to see if it would boot at cas 2. :) it did so i settled on 2.3.3.6. and it booted. so i broke out clockgen and started uping the fsb made it to 230 fsb at those timmings froze up at 235 with just 2.70v.well i stopped there but suspect it will climb higher with looser timings.all this on an fx-55 with a multi of 15 at 1.55v all i can say is wow. i can really tell a diff in gaming and i switched from my best 1 gig kit of bh-5. just thought id pass this on to those looking for 2g kits:)

I've been looking for more OC information on 2gig memory set-ups, but not a lot it anywhere. I know there are a lot of people who think running 2gigs is overkill but some games (like EQ2) would run a bit better. Does it justify the expense? It might not but if you're asking that question in an OC'ing forum, you may be in the wrong place. I'll stop now before I go off topic.

Mega, If you have the time to answer please let me know the following:

1. Did you consider going 4x512 on your Neo2? If not why? Does the fsb default to 333mhz when you use all 4 dimms?

2. $750 for the KRX3200AK2/2G :exclamati Did you have any other memory canidates? If ExcaliberPC ever gets back on their feet I was hoping to pull the trigger on Corsair TWINX2048-3200PT. (http://www.excaliberpc.com/product_info.php?cPath=163_520_164&products_id=3181)

3. Could you tell us what games you are playing or at point out the ones that saw a dramatic gain in performance going from 1 to 2 gigs of memory.

Thanks. :)

I've read this post about 3 times over 2 weeks...heh.
I'm set on getting 2gigs...but have not found much...any insight on which sticks to get?

For a DFI SLI board would it be good to get this:
OCZ DDR PC-3200 / 400 MHZ / 1GB Module / Dual Channel Kit ??

I'm currently running 2GB of PDP Micron -5BC chips on Brainpower PCB @ 252Mhz 3-3-3-10, 3.1v on DFI NF3

I can memtest upto 255Mhz though, not bad ram.
