'93 Ford Probe GT, maroon and a manual. :D I love that car. People call it crap, but it weighs in at a mere 2700 lbs or so. Couple that with a 164bhp V6 and you get some pretty decent acceleration. It was a hand-me-down from my dad, who bought it new back in '93. I've driven it since '99. Nothing special done to it, but I try to take good care of it. :)

Damn the fast and the furious for spoiling the uniqueness of my car and having every high school kid get/want/have-to-look-like one. Almost is embarrasing to say I drive a Honda but.... I must say though I love my car, even better than my brothers '01 vette.

'93 BMW 325i in Belgium. Blue paint, white leather interior, two door, sunroof, 5-Speed, Remus exhaust (very loud)

'96 Nissan Maxima SE in New York. White pearlescent paint, leather interior, 5-Speed, 75HP Zex nitrous kit. It has an alpine cd-player and eq, two JBL amps, Focal 6.5/tweets in the front and an old RF Punch 12 in a ported box, along with about 300 sq/ft of Dynamat super.

I spend all my time in belgium now so my mom is driving the Maxima... listening to her opera music with my booming sound system. For the time being I'm letting my brother run the n2o kit in his '00 Impala (along with a snarfed cop car motor he's a mechanic).

Also I owned a '94 Camaro and a '68 Chevelle convertable (red, black interior, power top, 350hp, looked great but actually it was a bondo bucket with frame rot, my friend got it from a crackhead for $250 seriously).

Now I'm saving my money for a new BMW M3. I saw some dude in Antwerp outrun a cop at insane speeds over cobblestone roads in the city one night in an M3 and I almost sh*t myself, those cars are amazing.

Edit: forgot about one of my favorites, for two years I drove a '90 Taurus SHO with the infamous 220hp 7000+ rpm yamaha motor... blew it up and sold it to a junkyard for $34

Hey what is up with swedes and old american hot rods? I was in Orebro Sweden last summer, eating dinner outside when I saw a whole parade of old camaros, chevelles, gto's, 40's coupes, and all that driving through town. Tons of 'em. I mean, I almost never see old cars in europe, but sweden seems to have a little hot rod oasis of their own...

1991 Chevy S-10 4.3L V6

I am working on it, my Engine Mounts broke, so most of my torque is GONE man... I am gonna replace all three I think, very soon.

A month ago it was a ragged old S-10 like you see when you drive, the old kind, ugly torn up, rusty, busted up,etc... I have undone ALL that. I cleaned the wheels(THEY WERE CHROME! Lol, I bought them a while back $600, very nice, wider and taller than the originals, never took care of them :( ) I have no before nor do I have after pictures... but I'll describe my baby as best I can, she is MY BABY, and fully paid with only a mere 72K Miles on her.

I took some Compound and oneof those spinning polishers(forget the actual name of it LOL), did the truck up and down! Then waxed it by hand. I still have to rewax, I bought extra clothes for the wax job this weekend, the last one is completely blue from dead paint! I still need to replace the Grill and front fender, gotta pull out the frame as it is bent from my last wreck, it is slightly bent cuasing the shell right next to the front tires to bend in slightly, a large dent, no actual damage, thank god.

I need to finish workin on the wheels though... gonna take forever, yes they were that bad. Need some Tar Remover for my underbelly, and behind teh wheels. Some Black Paint for Metal to retouch some areas of my truck like where the Windows are, and theWIndshield wipers, side mirrors, etc...

Buying a spray on bedliner liquid thing from O'Rielies, there is a Roll on kit so you dont NEED a Air Compression Spray or anything, but I have lots of sanding and stuff in store for me this weekend. Only gonna cost me 60 bucks! Gonna buy some 2x4's and make a carriage for my bed to hold 3 buckets with 200lbs of sand that weigh down my back end to keep me from pulling another 180 on a busy freeway, damned Houston Drivers!

Just LOTS AND LOTS of retouching, Black, Blue, and Chrome... My truck already looks 3 times better! I have only noted outside appearance so far... I have much to learn on the inside before I get started there, but I am taking it in soon to my Uncle to get those ENgine Mounts Replaced, he says that will help my performance out ALOT.

Ohh yeah, I LOVE MY TRUCK! Always have, but my last job kept me from getting any chance to work on it and keep it up :(

not a ton. I had a hole plan layed out, but things got off course.

DiabloSport ECU chip
Combo IceMan and FocusSport Cold Air Intake
FocusSport Strut brace
FocusSport Exhaust(not to loud, it's just right)
Clear Corners
Reverse Indiglo Gauges
Cougar 16" wheels (funny, but I like how they look and man were they cheap!)
Other little Cosmetic things here or there.

I got extremely limited to what more I could do when my son was born last year. Money was a little tight for a while, so not much more has been done. Things are getting better, and now I am trying to save for that WRX! Need a nice fat down payment. I have seen some great things done with them. Good Times!

1996 Subaru Impreza WRX STI2

Mildly modded, but one of the very loudest Scoobies in the UK:slobber:

At current winter temps, pushing out 320 Bhp with approx 270lb torque. 4.6 0-60 and top speed so far with current gearbox 150mph

The UK gearbox is good for 170 in one of these, I know ;)

My second Scoob, the first one went through 1 drivetrain replacement and 3 gearboxes in 1 year! Not my bad driving, bought a bad one and went to a bad tuner :(

The UK gearbox is the best for cruising/top speed, the RA box is completely and utterly mental and I got rid after 2 weeks and I find the standard STI box is best all round.

Cheers,

Nick :)

Hmm...

I'm not driving yet (8 more months), but in 3 years or so i'd like to get a Supra TT, 6spd... and no im not dreaming...

And before you start about that ricer §§§§, keep it to yourself... i hate the fast and the furious... too many ricers in it, and make good cars look bad...

Goto www.To4r.com and you'll see why I love supras (it may be down for the time being...)

My brother has a TT 6 Spd supra... 450-460 HP (engine).

Its got exhaust, running ~18 PSI boost, BIG trust intercooler, Mines modified ECU, stock TT's, heavy single TRD clutch... thats about it (simple terms)

Oh, and it goes hard :D

His mate just got an 1993 (or 1992, sumthing like that) RX7... BIG single turbo (600+HP :P)... FULLY MODIFIED... rollcage and stuff...

probably 600+ HP engine :D

that'd go hard... really hard... I'd probably §§§§ my pants when i go in it...

I'll try and find a pic of my bro's car... can't seem to locate it on my PC... (bloody computers :) )

and this is his car, not some bull§§§§ found on the net (some guy would'nt believe me a far while ago... oh well, who cares, it's not like its gonna affect me whether he believes it or not)...

These are the pics my brother was sent before he decided to purchase it... (imported)

come on ...realisticly - that is a 50-60K dollar super car.

I have a MR2 Turbo and I make 42K a year and can barley afford that (but that is including my R1)

trust me, that would be my dream car too but I know I am not seeing that anytime soon.

BTW, Supras are not rice...just the some people that drive them.

WobBz
03-03-2003, 03:43 PM
50-60K? bah! Only in america...

We're from AUSTRALIA :)
We have to import them from japan personally... can get them for about $30k Aus (~$20k US)... so it's ALOT cheaper that over in the US...

Even so, it doesn't cost 50-60k in the US... maybe a BRAND NEW one... but second hand i'd see them for no more than $40.... maybe $30K...

I think of it this way - if my brother can get one, so can I :D
Plus, I've already started saving, and I'll have a $3000 AUS head start over him... (~$2000 US), which doesn't sound like much, bbut it's alot when you are a student (also about 1/10 of the car)....

Come and live in AUS, then you can enjoy one :P

WobBz
03-03-2003, 03:54 PM
What have you done to your MR2? is it turbo? :D

They are nice :P

My best mate LOVES them... and 180sx's (240sx's to you? but 180sx's have better engines... 2.0lt Turbo)...

My brother ALREADY has a supra... due to their fairly cheap price... then again... it can't be called 'cheap' in a sense, as he bought it himself and he's only 20 :O

If you really want something bad enough, you'll most likely get it... put in the hard work... and voila! you get your cash...
(and i don't mean by stealing etc.)

Look man, you also got an R1... those things ROCK!!!! But then you say you can't afford a supra... and you wonder why... :p

R1's aren't exactly the cheapest bike around... you probably could have got a supra if you sold both... just go for a private sale...

Christian

With the suspention Ducati has been setting up on the 998S and 999's, taking a corner might be questionable:p

Great Bike...I just don't like how everyone caters to them and horsepower handicap in World Superbike vs the inline 4's.

Great track bike !!!

No one can catch them.. theyre obviously doing something right. And there is no better suspension than ohlins in my opinion.

Yep, my Scoob above has Ohlins suspension too and it is bloody good IMO, but very hard with the current setup that I run.

No doubt that Ohlins is the best suspension.

As far as nobody beating them...I think the only reason why is because every other bike that is capable of beating ducati is forced with some obserd limitation or regulation to give it a huge handicap.

They should basically just change world superbike to the Duc Cup.:D

Are we watching the same races? Who was hit with the weight restrictions because the jap companies couldnt keep up and wouldnt stop complaining? Thats why the jap companies are pulling out of WSBK, theyre tired of running home with their tails beween their legs.

Here's mine. 2001 VFR800 Haven't pushed the limits yet, been riding for 20 years, standards and classics for the most part. This is my first semi-sport bike and quite frankly, it 's scared the crap out of me more than once.

As for four wheels, working on resurrecting a '68 Road Runner. 440, 4 speed, 4 wheel discs, polyurethane bushings, 3.91's, fiberglass hood/fenders, etc, etc. Too many extras and too many hours to list. Hope to have it on the road this summer. Looks like a big steaming pile at the moment (Until you pop the hood :D ) Will push it out in the drive and take a few pics in the next day or so.

On those rare days when it's raining too hard to fire up the bike I steal the wifes '95 RAM 2500 V10

I have all of you guys topped. I drive a sweet '81 Chevy Citation. It has 2 doors and only one window that rolls down. With a screaming 2.0 liter 4 banger and a dragging exhaust pipe, it is the king of the road. I have only had to tow it twice which is good compared to some other peoples.

Here is a pic:

never mind about the pic, lousy web hosting went down.

Yah, I miss the duc.....don't know why, but the R1 is even less comfortable for me to ride than the 916 was. I'm always sliding forward into the tank....to say the least, it is hurting my "fellas". :)

No time to ride bikes anymore, so R1 is going bye bye....

Have only three cars now...

1988 Mustang LX for daily driver,

1980 Jeep CJ7 for offroad and fun in sun & snow,

1969 Pontiac GTO to feed the Gearhead need.

The GTO & Jeep have a lot of custom work, especially the engines.
As a certified Master Engine Machinist I have
restored/rebuilt/raced many GTO's over the years. But only
have the one now.

Unfortunately, mine neither has the 2.5 litre engine nor quattro...
At the first drive last winter I really regretted that...
But nevertheless, I love it. Comfortable, yet sportive and it really takes much cargo... I need that, otherwise I wouldn't be able to get my r/c model planes to the "airport" every sunday...

My brother got an A3 quattro. In winter, THAT's "sheer driving pleasure"...
Gotta love those power-slides on snowy parking lots
