Okay, Halo is severely over-rated. So is X-Box. Halo was a decent game, but there are so many games that are 100 times better. Halo is also like the only good game for X-Box (except Toejam and Earl 3 and MK: Deadly Alliance). It's got pretty graphics, but the games suck, the controllers suck (even the S ones), and it's a freaking outdated computer basically. I'd rather just play games on my computer than buy a console that is a computer with old parts. Would you go out and buy a 733 Mhz CPU now? Hell no. What type of graphics card is that? GF2 or maybe 3 equivalent? Hard Drive? 10 Gigs... So what's so great about it? I've also never seen so many glitches and bugs on a console system... For example, my friend has Morrowind on X-Box... It's not rare for it to freeze the entire system... What kind of crap is that? I'll be buying an X-Box soon, but only because of TJ&E III and MK:DA. Halo is decent for a console FPS, and will be fairly poor as a PC FPS. I'm sick of people praising it for being so great. It's got it's cool aspects, but it's nothing special. I think I'd rather play some Quake 1 online.

Do you say PS2 is better? hmm not your buying a 233MHc proc instead of XBOX's 733MHz... Sony is even OLDER ''garbage''

PS2 is the best console system for 1 reason and 1 reason only. Because of the games (well, and the controller is one of the best console controllers ever). If you want prettiness on a console system, get X-Box, if you wanted good games, get PS2, if you want both, get a PC. The other thing, what about the glitches and freezing on X-Box?

sorry my xbox is glitch free....

and on a personal flavor i never liked teh ps controllers...

they are too small and dont ''feel'' natural.

but it ALL comes down to personal perfernce - if you never owned an xbox you cant truly comment on its abilities and teh graphics own all!!

I had ps, ps2, nintendo etc - xbox is teh best by far! and every one if my friends who 'HAD' ps2 switched to xbox cuase of what they saw when I threw an xbox lan.

I'm getting an X-Box, only because of TJ&E3 like I said. My neighbor/best friend has an X-box and it looks good, but the controllers suck and the games are pretty bad too...

I would add in the best xtrem game : Amped

On the fight x-box vs ps2, i'd like to say that the proc is not use the same way as in a comp basicaly the proc has nothing to do and 733MHz is enough. The same thing is true for the vid card, it doesn't have to do 1280*960 because no tv has this resolution, basic tv are at 640*480. The x-box uses the same part as a comp but use it in another way and more efficiently. The fact of using comp part makes the programmer tasks easier as he doesn't have to learn a new language and can get the most of the sys since the beginning. The controller is huge but the buttons are well placed and it's easy to use. It's huge because the controller has one of the best force feedback system
