What temps?

Not bad ... its a start ;)

I'm both without Prometeia and decent P4 at the moment which is getting a bit frustrating... especially the prom is taking really long now :(
I hate air cooled celeron P4's :(

ronnie are u cooling the chipset or graphics card with water or just stock cooling?

Temps at idle at 4ghz are around -13C.

Temps at 3.82 idle are -19C, load 2C.

My voltages (dimm & core) are fluctuating a lot & my mobo is awfully hot (35C nb). I need a mobo that can handle more current. Any suggestions?

If your voltages are fluctuating you might need a stronger psu.

Could be...but I'm only running the minimum (HD, vc, & mobo) on a 400W PSU. All my lines don't dip below what they're supposed to be (12.3, 4.98, 3.34) under load. I'm gonna try the Asus P4PE and see what happens.

what are your full load temps at 4ghz?

I'd say around 6C-8C ;)

I'd say more like 15C.. if they were anything spectacular he would of listed them.

What vcore?

Quite good oc, but i've seen some doing 3800@air :)

Yea, well my psu is the limiting factor right now...15A on 12V line. I need like 25A.

I think those 3.06 has a limit around 3.8GHz. Both [H] and Hothardware ran around this speed with the Vapo. I've tested a 3.06 in the VapoChill PE and the Prometeia - I can get it to boot (post) at as far as 4040 but it will not run stable above 3800MHz in none of the systems. Both cases 1.725V seems to be the best Vcore.

BTW it will not even post at any speeds near this with air...

somebody should try and pin trick the cpu and go for
like 2.1vcc or so, see if that helps.... all the 4gigers on the
vr-zone database used that much vcc to get there
(course they used ln2 as well)....

i know the northwood isn't safe with above 1.7, but maybe this
chip is just like some of those old 1.6A's that just needed
some tender luvin... hehe

Well for all we know he might be running that sort of Vcore as he hasn't said what he's using yet...The load temps, I guess, are around 10C like punish3r said, probably a result of high Vcore. It would be a shame if that chip died though.

Tried different voltsettings on my new P4 3066

op to 1.95 V not better than about 1.7-1.74 Volt

Best OC Regards

I have broken 4Ghz running 3D and maxing out unstable around 4.1Ghz for SS

Good core contact and 1.75v+ is a must

ZubZero, if the Vapo PE can only reach 3.8Ghz, that makes me feel good about my watercooling rig =)

Fugger,

Yes that is indeed well done! Could be fun to try the CPU in both systems though :)
