Oldschool BH-5 overclocking

I figured, it's never too many people that show full spectrum of benchmarks at their MAX. Not Sandra, not SuperPI 1M but more, more.....
So I decided to show my BEST OF with my current setup...

Is it very far from highest bootable - Pifast/ SuperPi - 3D bechable BH-5 overclock @ Dual Channel ???

Thank for dropping by and enjoy the show :)

in A64Tweaker try Max Async Latency of 6ns instead of 7ns :D

It should provide a bit more bandwidth :)

Thanks! If I could jump on multi x11 with that BH-5 ( which is not gonna happen for some time :( ) then it would change Sandra score by about 150MB/s....

Thanks again! Actually, 275x10 6-2-2-2.0-1T breaks 8k by 27MB/s ;) but i wanted to post Sandra ONLY if something else passes... unfortunately even SuperPi 1M can't finish :(

Anyway, you did gain something, right?
And if so how much?

I hate you and your RAM!! :D
Seriously, very nice result man!

Can you tell me how high your Hyper-X will go with just 3.3V?

I'm gonna burn in my Hyper-X biatch5 for a couple of nights with memtest test #5 and see how they will do at 3.3V

As of now one stick does 255 @ 3.3V, the other doesn't like anything over ~252 (yet)

Since i haven't got a booster 3.3V is the max i can give my mem, turning my 3.3V rail over 3.5V results in my PSU shutting down.
My digital MM told me it was 3.72V instead of 3.5V

Do you have a booster or are you using the Vdimm=vio mod?

Btw, you forgot to insert a Prime screen. :D

Unfortunatly, as soon as my BH5's (able to do 255MHz stable in memtest if not higher) passes 220MHz, it is completly instable ( it is fully stable at 219.87MHz....).

BTW: I have looked EVERYWHERE, and cant find the A64Tweaker V0.50XT Beta, can someone say me where to find it? I would really like to use it, there is a setting in that version that I need....

Not as simple as that;). The problem is in the motherboard, there is somewhere a compatibility problem with old stepping chips... That is what me and another user as found.this seems to only happen with the newest MSI K8N Neo2 too.

now, I dont want to crap Bachus Thread.

BTW: Great clocks my man!

... don't be hatin' Zeus :D

To be honest with you I havent really tested those sticks on Neo2 @ 3.3v - I went straight for 3.6v as this is my 24/7. At this voltage, It's "memtest and prime" stable @ DDR520.

Those KHX are great!!! But I think that many BH-5 sets of 2x256MB are capable of that as I also have 2x256MB of Mushkin LvL II that is doing exactly same clocks as my KHX ;)

As for your PSU shutting down - some of them ( including my volt-modded PCP&C 510W Deluxe ) have OVP set pretty low opposed to e.g. Fortron/Source 530W which is good for about 4.0v.

And no, I have "prime" screens but last time I tried it was with 260x10 and 265x10. I might trown them in to make that collection complete :D

Thanks a lot for all the good words :)

The PSU is good for 3.72V measured by digital MM, only bios tells me it's only 3.5V, so that kinda blows.
I have to have my 3.3V rail about 0.15-0.20V higher than my Vdimm but don't know if this read out by bios or by DMM.

Anyway, 252 seems now rock stable @3.3V after burning in overnight.
Gonna burn in some more, hoping to get at least 255 out of the worse stick.
Did you burn in your sticks with memtest?

And, oh, i don't really hate you.... :D
