Windows XP x64 release date? [Archive]

Hey Guys,
I have tried the beta of Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 edition. It was not very compatible with my drivers so I reformatted and installd XP pro again.
Do any of you guys have any idea when windows xp pro x64 is due to come out? :confused:

Were they just normal XP drivers? I remember reading that all the drivers for your system would have to be 64-bit with that OS.
