I was looking around pricewatch and came up with these: http://store.yahoo.com/digi4me/gs1gbkit5x2d3.html

I never heard of LF or LB. could OPB or someone explain these. Any results? How would they compare to LA? THanks.

Those are new GSKILL modules with other rated timings.
200MHz______550MHz_______ 600MHz
LA 2-2-2-5_______ x _______ 2.5-4-4-8__ SC/DC kit
LB 2-3-3-6_______ x _______ 3.0-4-4-8__ DC kit
LC 2-2-2-5_______ x_______ 2.5-4-4-8__ DC kit
LE 2-2-2-5_______ 2.5-3-3-7 ____x_______ DC kit
LD 2-3-3-6_______ 2.5-4-4-8 ____x_______DC kit
LF 2-3-3-6_______ 2.5-3-3-7 ____x_______ DC kit
LA is the best of the DDR600 class.
LE is the best of the DDR550 class.

LOL. are you implying that gskill is crap? or are you reffering to my results with tccd?
Results of the model labeling scheme i think. It isn't terribly clear and if a retailer doesn't make speeds/timings clear, there will be some upset endusers.

Yeah, I agree gskill needs to revamp their ram id's. maybe "LA" being the best and work your way down.

I think we are saying the gskill ID system is very confusing for some. the last 2 digits(LA) etc. seem to have no relevance to anything. they seem too random.
